Q: What is YRG?A: Year-Round Gear is an outdoor gear store, or as some would call a sporting goods store that opened in 2011, we sell both new and pre-owned gear and apparel. Our mission is to provide a local place to find great quality gear and apparel that is affordable for your use in the great outdoors. YRG is a specialty consignment store not a thrift store, that has something for everyone from kids to seniors. Our Gear Agents are here to help you in anyway possible, even if that means just talking to you about how your day is. YRG is about relationship building, networking, knowledge sharing, community, and fun. We strive to ensure your experience makes you want to tell the world about YRG.

A: YRG is always looking for in season items. Major categories are, biking, canoeing, kayaking, SUP boards, camping, hiking, fishing, watersports, hockey, skiing, snowboarding, and snowshoeing.
Q: What else does YRG do?
A: YRG also rents outdoor gear and leads outdoor tours. We rent camping equipment, kayaks, SUP boards, bikes, snowshoes, and xc skis. We have weekly kayak, SUP, and hiking tours if you are unfamiliar with the area and or just want a guide to show you what the Upper Peninsula has to offer.
